RackReady

Privacy policy

Last updated October 9, 2026. Also published at rackready.app/privacy/.

Short version: RackReady keeps everything on your phone. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never receive your workout data.

What's stored, and where

  • Routines you add, your logged sets and notes (including effort ratings), your progress in each routine, bodyweight entries if you add them, gym names, equipment settings and app settings.
  • All of it is stored only in this app's storage on your phone. It isn't sent to us or anyone else.
  • The "Painful" flag and notes you write are stored the same way, on your phone only.
  • Your phone's own backup (Google or iCloud) may include this app's storage, depending on your phone's settings. That backup goes to your account, not to us.

Files you import or export

  • Importing a routine or a backup reads the file you choose. Nothing is uploaded.
  • Exported backups and routine files are saved or shared wherever you choose. After that, they're in your control.

Exercise videos

Some routines link to exercise videos on YouTube. When you play one, it loads from YouTube, and Google may collect data under Google's privacy policy. Nothing loads from YouTube unless you open a video.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, they're used only to tell you when your rest is over. They're created on your phone; we don't send them.

Deleting your data

Go to Settings → Erase all data, or uninstall the app or clear its site data. Because we never have a copy, there's nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

RackReady isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.

This website

rackready.app is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The site sets no cookies and has no analytics. The LiftFile Builder keeps your drafts in your browser only.

Coach sharing (planned)

A future version may let you share workouts with a coach. If it does, it will be off until you turn it on, you will choose which kinds of data to share (for example workouts and weights but not notes, pain flags or bodyweight), and you can stop sharing and have the shared data deleted at any time. This policy will be updated before that happens. Today, nothing is shared.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and on our website with a new date. Questions? Contact us.
